אגלה לכם סוד, כי לפני עשרות שנים מרן פוסק הדור רבינו עובדיה יוסף זצ”ל, כשהיה משתתף בשו”ת רדיו לחג הפסח, היה מגיע לבית הכנסת הגדול ומבקש מהציבור לשאול שאלות בשידור.

In other words, he would try to ensure the questions were easy by sending plants. (Maybe others do the same.)

Religious Zionist Rabbis Call To Stop Delaying Marriage Due to the Army

Very parve and understated (too little, too late, they ignore their own role in causing this), but it’s better than nothing. I don’t know who these rabbis are very well.

Here is the proclamation, titled מסמך המלצות לרבנים בנושא הרווקות המאוחרת:

Quoting the last paragraph:

אנו קוראים לעודד נישואין בגילאים הצעירים (בישיבות – על פי הדרכת הישיבה). ראוי לכתחילה להתחתן גם לפני שירות צבאי קרבי וגם לפני היציאה ללימודים גבוהים, ולא לחכות ולדחות את הנישואין לגילאים מבוגרים.
