The Rebbe calmly but directly asks (his own Chassidim): Why don’t you come to Eretz Yisrael?
And the Ma’amar Chazal he has in mind for this inauguration of a religious school in Chutz La’aretz (under his own auspices!) is this one, Bereishis Rabba 39:8:
“אלין במדבר סלה”‘ מוטב ללון במדברות של א”י ולא ללון בפלטריות של חוצה לארץ.
