So much about Bibi Button is liminal. Nothing significant ever quite happens to him or through him.

Six years indicted but never convicted, never cleared. He won’t even seriously go after those sentencing him. Mid-sentence, always mid-sentence.

He is forever promising to do something good/bad for a change, his followers and enemies forever believing/fearing this time will be different. All good and bad things to all men and women, literally all possible things simultaneously.

He’s learned nothing from Shmini Atzeres (except new lines), dropped nothing of the “interim” Oslo Accords he upkept. Upkeeper, caretaker, all the same all the time.

“Total victory”, forever pending. War never ends, so his investigation never ends. And an investigation into the war he helped cause never starts.

Bibi Button neither grows old nor grows young. B.B, a soulless “Non-Player Character” reflects our stasis state.
