From “Rabbi Meir Kahane: His Life and Thought” by Libby Kahane (Volume One, p. 242):

Yes, I get my definition of racism from Meir Kahane!
We recently republished an article by Walter Block on the counterproductive nature of “rent control” pseudo-laws, the added title decrying the acquiescence of Torah scholars to these socialist horrors.
Chavatzeles Hasharon responsa C.M. 2:8 writes that rent control does not have the legitimacy of dina d’malchusa dina as it serves to only help those who are currently tenants, at the expense of both landlords and new tenants (and that it is a communist/socialist agenda to stick it to the rich).
Nor is this an empirical issue, where past generations didn’t have the data to decide. This is timeless logic.
