What Galus Jews Need To Hear

The Most Dangerous Thing

   by Reb Gutman Locks

A nice guy came up to me at the Kotel. He smiled and told me that he receives my emails (posts). I asked him where he lives. He said, “Five Towns.”

I told him the most dangerous thing in the world for him was his children intermarrying, that some 85% of the non-religious boys in America intermarry!

He nodded his head, agreeing with me.

I told him, “There are two ways to teach Torah. I shook my finger at him and made a stern face, “Or,” I held my hands, palms up, in front of me, and I slowly raised them a little while looking up at the sky.

“If you have to be stern with your children’s Torah education, and not spiritual, the chances are they are going to run away from it as soon as they can!”

Torah life should be joyful, or it is not being lived right.

‘From the River to the Sea’ Is Against ASHKENAZI JEWS!

Wikipedia quoting a well-researched piece on Mondoweiss:

Earlier iterations of the slogan in Arabic included explicitly Islamist and Arab nationalist sentiments; one early version translates to “‘From the river to the sea’ … or ‘from the water to the water, Palestine [is] Islamic,’” Colla said. “Maybe a more common version is, ‘Palestine is Arab.’”

So, there you have it.

Arabs, whether Jewish or Cursedian or Mohemadan can all share the land, just get rid of those Ashkenazi elitist colonizers! The Sefardic Shas movement (or better yet, the Israeli Black Panthers) could have used the same slogan!

Note: Only kidding, of course. The non-Jewish Arabs don’t view Arab Jews as Arab any more than European non-Jews accepted Jews as European (the same is true for almost any other country as regards its Jews). So “Arab” means non-Jewish Arab.

Question for R’ Dov Landa and Others Who Oppose Yeshiva Students Oppose Visiting the Sick and Comforting Mourners

Rabbi Daniel Eidensohn at the “Daas Torah blog may have a point:

Gittin (62a) the Sages taught in a baraita (Tosefta 5:4): One sustains poor gentiles along with poor Jews, and one visits sick gentiles along with sick Jews, and one buries dead gentiles along with dead Jews. All this is done on account of the ways of peace, to foster peaceful relations between Jews and gentiles.
