Ah, he has far too high an opinion of us. Charedi recruits may be unique in some ways, but they still have a slave mentality, not to mention virulent inferiority complexes toward their masters.
Religious Jews may perhaps be “outsiders” if kept outside the bureaucracy. But phony “religious” soldiers are well “vetted” by the very act of soldiering; if they can stomach the enormity of the IDF, they can bear anything. Their conscience is long dead by a thousand cuts.
