R’ Shach Did Care About the Jewish Nation – Symbolically…

While we have often written and demonstrated that R’ Shach and other supposed “gedolim” in his wake didn’t care at all about Jewish lives outside their own community (or worse), and put Am Yisrael in tremendous danger, repeatedly, under the facile slogans of “תן לי יבנה וחכמיה”, or “the Torah isn’t Right-wing”, or “we must follow fake security experts“, or “who asked them to live beyond the Green Line?! (ironic today)”, and helped pivotally set us on the disastrous path we are on today by linking the “mainstream” with Neturei Karta, but…

Small caveat:

R’ Shach (and some of his epigones) refused to go with the political Left, despite the blood money offered, because even they dimly recognized that the Left was (inexplicably?!) against Judaism. R’ Shach also refused to join the coalition of Rabin yemach shemo due to his mesirah over “Sabra and Shatila” (as he perceived it).

This is symbolic and counteracted by other things. I mention this only because someone will inevitably bring it up as exculpatory, but I don’t think this helps.
