They sent out a message:
After 18 year of continuous service primarily to the English job seekers community, the time has come to close.
Unfortunately, the Israemploy service is no longer viable and our last day of operation will be 30th Nov 2021.
We always operated as an Amuta (NPO) and worked on basic minimal salaries.
During our 18 years of operation we published over 300k jobs (close to 1400 new jobs every month).
During this time we also know that over 50k jobseekers found regular gainful employment from our service – the real number may be considerably higher.
I started the service in November 2002 knowing how difficult it was for English speakers to find work – not least of which myself.
I am both the first and last employee of the organization.
Ironically I now find myself unemployed again and don’t quite know how I will manage – I am open to offers of part time work.
