A Chassidic Rebbe, who heard rumors of Rabbi Odesser being “off”, visited him to investigate matters for himself.
As his visitor sat down, Rabbi Odesser picked up a large piece of cake on the table and slammed it into his own face. When the Rebbe saw that, he immediately decided he had seen enough, and left. And Rabbi Odesser, unsure if his visitor had gone completely, asked someone present: Can I clean myself up yet?
