As for Mussar, I see nothing wrong with להזכירם את הידוע להם כבר ומפרסם אצלם פרסום גדול. Why not reframe “Yeridas Hadoros” as “Hashem trusts this generation with rectifying the most material grossness”?
But such “glass half full” tautologies should be presented as such, and not marketed dishonestly as “Deep Secrets”.
