N.B. It has Cursedian nonsense within, but maybe you can filter good from bad.

Rabbi Dov Landa opposes singing “Echad Yachid Umeyuchad” at weddings, and the like, comparing it to lofty “Shir Hakovod“, which may not be sung at random occasion and manner.
I learned something new from listening to this interview with Chagai Amir (brother of Yig’al Amir).
When Prisoner X committed suicide, the government claimed they had cameras installed in his cell to prevent such a thing. But this is a fig leaf. The truth is, there are no less than five gates between any guard and the maximum-security prisoners. With all that and the permissions needed before going through the gates, even if the guards clearly saw his intention to kill himself, there is no way they could prevent it in time. Of course, that’s the whole idea.
And even if they would prevent suicide, I imagine the cameras themselves would be cause for it, too..
“Prisoner X” was imprisoned near Yig’al Amir, by the way.
