Murray N. Rothbard presented this speech at the Michigan Libertarian Party Convention, held in Southfield, Michigan, in May 1989. This is an excerpt where he discusses The Rich, Progressive Income Tax and Financial Elites. Relevant in terms of those interested in Occupy Wall Street.
No. Upsetting everyone might be a “necessary condition”, but it is not a “sufficient condition”. (I’m only kidding! There is no requirement to upset everyone.)
Why do I even need to say this?
Because I recall some old version of Wikipedia quoted him self-identifying this way. Can’t find where.
Although, yes, he is on the economic right.

אני בעד התאחדות (חזית דתית ש.ה). אני נגד החלק מאגודת ישראל שבא והתחבר לממשלה. איך אתם מתחברים לממשלה שמקצצת תקציב של ישיבות? איך אתם מתחברים לממשלה שפועלת נגד התורה ונגד היהדות? איך מתייחסים לשאלה של ההתנתקות ושאר הדברים?! חלק מאגודת ישראל הולכים ועושים את המעשה הזה. הם טוענים שהם שאלו את הרבנים – אני לא מאמין להם”.
שאלה: “הרב אלישיב לא נתן להם?”
תשובה: “אני לא מאמין להם ששאלו. אולי עשו ורק אחר כך הלכו לשאול. אולי הרב אלישיב שתק להם. עצם העניין שהלכו לשאול דבר כזה זו שגיאה. מה יש לשאול?! זה דבר שהוא תמוה! מה פתאום להתחבר לרשעים. מה ההווא אמינא?!”
הערה: לעניות דעתי אין לתמוה כיצד התחברו הללו לרשעים. והרי גם חברי כנסת חילונים לא כ”כ מדקדקים במצוות…
