A Supposedly Anti-Zionist Remark on Purim by Rabbi Hirsch zatzal

The Hirsch Siddur commentary, p. 690:
ברוך האל הרב וכו’:
With this blessing we renounce every thought of vengeance and every independent effort at effecting retribution from our enemies, acknowledging, instead, that God is the sole true, genuine and all-sufficient Champion of our destinies against all our foes.
End.
Clearly, this was written for an outside purpose. No honest person (so, anti-Zionists are out!) could take these words at face value.
The idea of the blessing is recognizing the Hand of God, even as we ourselves lift the sword (כי הוא הנתן לך כח לעשות חיל).
Incidentally and coincidentally, I quietly take note of the fact that “Shoshanas Yaacov”, appearing a few pages later is missing the whole entire line of “ארורים כל… ברוכים כל…”
Same idea.
