For those who desire to deceive themselves by frivolous and vapid speculation, I offer a closer comparison. Instead of comparing Trump to Cyrus (for opening an embassy in the capital, or in vain hope he’ll “allow” rebuilding the Temple), with the current military occupation of the Holy Land by the U.S. after being invited in by the faithless satrap, Trump seems more like Ben Hadad to me (if only Asa and Ba’asha will forgive the comparison). Will the empire only steal our Aza, or will they take it all?!
